In the right-hand pane which then becomes active, you can select which elements of native Firefox** may be allowed to be accessed (that is, written to) outside the sandbox, including the profile folder: "Allow direct access to entire Firefox profile folder" will permit writing to the "sessionstore.js" file, which, as dickvl stated, is a component of the Profile Folder. Click on "Sandbox Settings", then in the left-hand (white) pane of the Sandbox Settings Panel, expand "Applications", then expand "Web Browser", then select Firefox from the list of browsers. Open the "Sandboxie Control" Main Window, then, from the Menu Bar, select Sandbox > DefaultBox > Sandbox Settings. The Sandboxie Forum suggestion is technically correct for addressing uniquely the "sessionstore.js" file, but applying this single rule on its own in the Sandbox Settings is overly fine tuning, and I suspect that what will work much better for you overall to get Firefox to "play nicely with Sandboxie" is to apply one of the pre-configured Sandbox | Web Browser permissions:Īssuming that, as a recent Sandboxie adopter, you are not running more Sandboxes than the single Sandboxie "DefaultBox" :
